Preparation Methods
Reheat the frozen filled pasta for 5 minutes in hot, slightly salted water (± 95°C).
Heat the frozen filled pasta with a little salt and olive oil in a combi steamer (100°C) for 10 minutes.
This delicious mezzalune follows the traditional recipe, combining soft ricotta with a robust base of tender veal. A hint of hard cheese enhances the flavor, while the delicate addition of morels and mushrooms adds earthy depth. A balanced ratio of 50% filling to 50% dough makes this mezzalune suitable as an appetizer, side dish, or main course.
