Preparation Methods
Cut open the bag and heat in a microwave (900W) for 45 seconds. Leave for 30 sec. rest and heat again for 45 sec.
Heat the sauce in a pan while stirring.
Heat the closed bag for ± 5 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam)
Typical carbonara sauce without eggs. If eggs were included in the sauce, the egg yolk would form lumps due to the high temperatures during sterilization, resulting in a less smooth texture. However, eggs can be added during the final stages of preparing the sauce if desired.
