Pasta
Our pasta starts with fresh pasta dough.
A mixture of durum wheat semolina, water, a pinch of salt, and sometimes eggs. Nothing more, nothing less.
Our method
From wheat to frozen pasta.
Why freeze fresh pasta?
Freezing is the only preservation method to naturally keep fresh pasta for long periods without the use of preservatives or gas.
It is also the best way to optimally preserve aroma, color, flavor, and nutrients. Smiling Cook pasta has a long shelf life of 18 months, making it perfect for the foodservice.
All you need to do is take the required amount of frozen pasta, reheat it for 30 seconds in boiling lightly salted water, and it’s ready!
Our pasta in detail
SPAGHETTI
Precooked, oiled and salted, deepfrozen in nests of 50g.
Advantages of fresh frozen pasta
Our pasta is hardly distinguishable from fresh pasta. We use a fresh pasta dough and a quick freezing method, ensuring that both flavor and nutrients are fully preserved. This simple process provides unique benefits for foodservice.
DIFFERENT REHEATING METHODS
Our frozen fresh pasta offers flexibility for every professional kitchen. Traditionally, you can quickly reheat the pasta in lightly salted water. For larger quantities, a steamer is an excellent option, or you can heat the pasta directly in a pan along with the sauce. We even have a solution for the microwave: our pasta steam pouches are ideal for quick service or smaller portions.
FRESH PASTA in 30 seconden
The unparalleled speed continues to amaze. Immerse a portion of short pasta in boiling, lightly salted water, and within 30 seconds, the pasta is ready to serve. Ideal for any restaurant where every second counts. There’s no need to precook dry pasta anymore. You always have ‘al dente’ pasta with a perfect texture that never sticks. This allows you to consistently deliver high quality without long waiting times.
Cost-efficient
Using frozen fresh pasta is not only a time saver but also a cost-efficient solution. You can use exactly the required amounts per portion without any waste. Additionally, frozen pasta has a longer shelf life than fresh pasta, meaning you need to reorder less frequently and to better respond to fluctuations in demand. The consistent quality and minimal waste lead to lower long-term costs, positively impacting your profitability.
Consistent quality
Our frozen fresh pasta is made from high-quality ingredients and is frozen immediately after production to ensure freshness. You can trust that every portion of pasta delivers the same ‘al dente’ quality. The consistent quality will enhance the reputation of your kitchen.
