These ravioli are filled with an aromatic pesto filling based on basil, cheese, pine nuts and garlic. The filling delivers a recognisable Mediterranean flavour and makes the product highly versatile in professional kitchens.
Thanks to the IQF freezing method, the ravioli stay nicely separated and the product is easy to portion according to the desired serving size. The ravioli are quick to prepare and offer consistent quality, a fixed food cost and less preparation in the kitchen.
A versatile filled pasta for starters, buffets, catering or quick pasta dishes. Combine with a light cream sauce, tomato sauce, extra pesto or grilled vegetables. Finish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil for a classic Mediterranean presentation.
- Heat the frozen filled pasta for 3 minutes in hot, lightly salted water (± 95°C).
- Heat the frozen stuffed pasta for 5 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam).
