This Basmati rice, originating from Pakistan, is fully precooked and individually quick-frozen (IQF). This process ensures a fluffy, non-sticking grain that retains its characteristic texture and aroma after regeneration.
This product eliminates cooking time and offers consistent quality. It can be portioned directly from the freezer, leading to a predictable food cost and efficient service.
The characteristic, nutty aroma and the long, slender grain make this rice the perfect base for authentic Eastern and Indian dishes. It is an excellent carrier for curries and other spicy preparations.
- Heat the frozen rice for 30 seconds in hot, lightly salted water (± 95°C).
- Stir fry for 3 minutes.
- Heat the frozen rice for approx. 4 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam).
