Penne arrabiata with bacon cubes
Ingredients
- Penne (A3) – 300 g
- Arrabiata sauce – 120 g
- Bacon cubes – 80 g
- Parmesan shavings – 40 g
- Basil – 5 leaves
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Sauté the bacon cubes in a very hot pan with some olive oil.
- Warm the penne in lightly salted boiling water for 30 seconds, drain, and add them to the pan as soon as the bacon is golden brown.
- Add the arrabiata sauce, mix well, and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Plate and garnish with Parmesan shavings and chopped basil.
