Penne arrabiata with bacon cubes

Ingredients

  • Penne (A3) – 300 g
  • Arrabiata sauce – 120 g
  • Bacon cubes – 80 g
  • Parmesan shavings – 40 g
  • Basil – 5 leaves
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Sauté the bacon cubes in a very hot pan with some olive oil.
  2. Warm the penne in lightly salted boiling water for 30 seconds, drain, and add them to the pan as soon as the bacon is golden brown.
  3. Add the arrabiata sauce, mix well, and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  4. Plate and garnish with Parmesan shavings and chopped basil.
