Our Udon noodles are made with soft wheat flour for a characteristic soft yet resilient bite. The noodles are precooked ‘al dente’ and IQF-frozen in generous 175-gram nests, ensuring easy and quick portioning.
The nests offer complete control over food cost and support fast service. The noodles can be regenerated directly from the freezer in 90 seconds in boiling water or broth.
The thick, round shape and soft texture make these noodles perfect for absorbing flavours in Japanese soups like ramen. They also hold their structure excellently in stir-fries or as a base for cold noodle salads, providing an authentic and filling meal.
- Heat the frozen pasta for 90 seconds in hot, lightly salted water (± 95°C).
- Heat the frozen pasta for approx. 4 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam).
