Our macaroni is produced from durum wheat semolina, precooked ‘al dente’, and individually frozen (IQF). This guarantees a loose product that doesn’t stick and is quick to portion for efficient service.
With a preparation time of just 30 seconds, this pasta is a very fast and reliable base in any kitchen. The ease of portioning and quick regeneration ensure a consistent food cost and workflow.
The curved tube shape is a classic that lends itself to various applications. Macaroni is the perfect base for the traditional “Mac & Cheese,” but is also very suitable for casseroles and gratinated dishes. Because the pasta is egg-free, it is also suitable for vegan dishes.
- Heat the frozen pasta for 30 seconds in hot, lightly salted water (± 95°C).
- Fry the frozen pasta together with the sauce in a pan.
- Heat the frozen pasta for approx. 4 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam).
