This sticky rice is made from high-quality Japonica rice, known for its soft, neutral flavour and perfect sticky texture. The rice is fully precooked and IQF-frozen, ensuring consistent quality and ease of use.
This product is an efficient solution that eliminates the complex and precise preparation of sticky rice. The rice is directly portionable and quick to regenerate in the microwave, combi-steamer, or hot water, guaranteeing a fixed food cost.
The rice holds together beautifully without becoming mushy, making it the ideal base for rolling sushi, assembling colourful poké bowls, or as a component in flavourful stir-fry dishes.
- Heat the frozen rice for 30 seconds in hot, lightly salted water (± 95°C).
- Heat at 900 W for 4 minutes 30 seconds, stir briefly, then heat for another 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Heat the frozen rice for approx. 4 minutes in a combi steamer (100°C, 100% steam).
