Gnocchi with chicken
Ingredients
- Gnocchi – 120 g
- Forestière sauce – 100 g
- Chicken breast – 1 pc
- Butter – 50 g
- Thyme – 2 sprigs
- Garlic – 1 clove unpeeled
- Button mushrooms – 10 pieces
- Bacon cubes – 30 g
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Sear the chicken breast until golden brown with half of the butter in a hot pan, basting with the cooking juices.
- Place the chicken in an oven dish with the cooking juices, mushrooms, bacon, thyme and garlic. Continue cooking in the oven.
- Heat the sauce according to the package instructions.
- Sauté the frozen gnocchi in the remaining butter over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add salt.
- Place the chicken on a warm plate, pour the sauce over it, add the gnocchi and garnish with mushrooms and bacon.
Cold preparation: Let the ingredients cool before placing them in containers. Do not heat the sauce in advance.
