Gnocchi with chicken

Ingredients

  • Gnocchi – 120 g
  • Forestière sauce – 100 g
  • Chicken breast – 1 pc
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Thyme – 2 sprigs
  • Garlic – 1 clove unpeeled
  • Button mushrooms – 10 pieces
  • Bacon cubes – 30 g
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Sear the chicken breast until golden brown with half of the butter in a hot pan, basting with the cooking juices.
  3. Place the chicken in an oven dish with the cooking juices, mushrooms, bacon, thyme and garlic. Continue cooking in the oven.
  4. Heat the sauce according to the package instructions.
  5. Sauté the frozen gnocchi in the remaining butter over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add salt.
  6. Place the chicken on a warm plate, pour the sauce over it, add the gnocchi and garnish with mushrooms and bacon.

Cold preparation: Let the ingredients cool before placing them in containers. Do not heat the sauce in advance.
